Location Requirements

Candidate must live within 15 mile radius of office location – Hammond, LA.

Position Summary and Primary Objectives

As a member of Provencher Operations Team, this person shall support the business not only in tactical tasks, but assist in strategic activities such as training & development, planning, and analysis of data. Key objectives to include, but not limited to:

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Data entry for human resource and accounting departments.
  • Will provide support for data and information requests to a service focused organization.
  • Will be required to interface, influence, and work with a wide variety of individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Will support and assist in the creation of operational effectiveness & security as it relates to all business units.
  • Other responsibilities include support in areas related to on-boarding, technology, bookkeeping, and inventory.

Skills and Core Competencies

  • Perform data entry and scan documents
  • Plan meetings using Outlook Scheduling Assistant
  • Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters and forms
  • Maintain address book contact information
  • Assist with any paperwork, filing or other clerical tasks as required
  • Willing to communicate with customers on a daily basis
  • Be able to juggle multiple projects with accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft: Word, Excel, Outlook 
  • Basic knowledge of QuickBooks preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills & Detailed Oriented
  • Strong Writing Skills
  • Flexible, self-starter

Education/Qualifications Required

  • Minimum of a High School diploma (or equivalent)

Work Experience Required

  • He/she will hold to well-articulated core values and expected behavior
  • Minimum 3 years office environment work history
  • Background is Human Resources, Recruiting or Accounting preferred
