Julie joined Provencher & Company in 2005 and brings over 25 years of diverse experience to the Executive Team and her role as Vice President of People, Culture, & Strategic Initiatives.

Julie is executive lead for: Provencher’s Human Resource department, corporate strategy development, technology implementations and efficiencies; empowering staff by driving process improvement and training & development; operational excellence; and defining best-fit solutions to meet customer needs.

Julie is passionate about employing data and analytics to identify emerging trends and to drive meaningful HR and business advancements. In her tenure, she has focused her team on driving innovative and differentiated ways to deliver on the commitment of being a Great Place to Work. This includes a focus on recognizing and rewarding performance, providing development opportunities, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace and supporting employees’ physical, emotional and financial wellness.

With nearly three decades experience working in the insurance, sales & customer relationships industries, Julie has held a variety of roles, working with hundreds of clients. Prior to her current role with Provencher & Company, Julie served as Director of Quality Assurance & Claim Operations. Her responsibilities included: overseeing all claims support staff, examiners, accounting team, trainers, and regulatory compliance department in our National Claim Center. Julie served an instrumental role in making sure daily and catastrophe assignments were distributed and work products were produced accurately and timely while following all state compliance statutes.

In her spare time, and as a health & fitness enthusiast, Julie enjoys spending her time outdoors kayaking, biking, and hiking. She is actively involved in her community; serving in a variety of capacities with multiple business, social and non-profit organizations.
