Chuck is a highly skilled insurance professional with over 25 years of adjusting, litigation management, and claims management experience.     Mike is an accomplished innovator in the practice of business execution and client success.  In a career spanning 35 years in business leadership, sales and operations, he has developed critical skills to generate consistent growth for organizations and clients.  Mike’s strategic guidance has improved client relations for companies throughout the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, and Asia. Most recently, Mike operated as Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing of a multi-national service provider of automation and robotics technologies.

    In his new role with Provencher & Company, Mike will be responsible for process improvement in all functions driving revenue streams.  His areas of influence include new business development and  aligning operations with sales / marketing to drive the successful customer experience.

    Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Thomas Edison State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business.   • Matthew Lavit joins Provencher & Company as Supervising Examiner

    Hammond, LA – May 29, 2019 – Provencher & Company, LLC is pleased to announce that Matthew Lavit of New Jersey has joined the company as Supervising Examiner overseeing assigned client accounts, ensuring we deliver on our commitment to our clients- timely delivery of a quality work product, customized to meet client specific protocols.

    Matt has garnered a wealth of experience having worked with a National & International insurer handling residential and commercial property claims including business interruption losses.  He is also a Captain in the Army Reserve serving the last 9 years as an Engineer including the last three years in command of a construction company.  In this role, he is responsible for managing and training nearly 200 reservists with skills in heavy equipment operation, masonry, carpentry, plumbing and electrical. He is also responsible for all QA/QC of construction projects ensuring his team is meeting specifications given by the plans.

    During his deployment to Afghanistan, Matt managed over 100 projects and assisted in the master plan for the redesign of 2 bases. He has also received over 80 hours of Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA) training, managing the Department of Defense response to requests for assistance (RFAs) from civil authorities for domestic emergencies like hurricanes and other natural disasters.

    Matt spends as much time as possible with his family; wife Amanda, son Colin (4) and daughter Madison, 3 months. In his free time Matt enjoys woodworking making small furniture and playing hockey.

  • Samantha Verneuil Promoted to Director of Claim Operations

    Hammond, LA – May 29, 2019 – Provencher & Company, LLC is pleased to announce that Samantha Verneuil has been promoted to Director of Claim Operations.  In this new role Sam will work in tandem with Stuart Retallick, Executive Claim Manager, in managing the claim department; Stuart being responsible for Claim Technical and Samantha Claim Operations.  In this new role Sam will report directly to Jerry Provencher, CEO, and Executive General Adjuster. 

    In Samantha’s new role, she will be focusing more on our Claim Analytics, benchmarking to the industry and more specifically to our client’s standards, which will help her manage more from a Big Picture perspective.   Samantha will also assume the responsibility of conducting Quality Assurance file audits for the Supervising Examiner and Major Case Unit teams.

    Effective May 13, Amanda Green, Team Leader, assumed responsibility for Vendor Management and managing new claim set up and report processing and  Linda Perilloux, Team Leader, assumed responsibility for Sales Team support, and managing the billing and mailroom teams. 

    Provencher & Company believes strongly in developing the human assets of the company and always promoting from within whenever possible.  Samantha started with Provencher back in 2013 as temporary employee.  Little did she know then that temp job would turn into an entirely new career path for her.    Once onboard full time she advanced quickly from Claim Processor to Lead Claim Processor to department manager and now Director of Claim Operations.

    Provencher & Company, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Kenneth Jones as Executive General Adjuster with our Major Case Unit (MCU) team. Kenneth will work directly with our Executive Claims Manager, Stuart Retallick, and available to travel nationwide wherever our clients’ needs are.
