Robert Kimpel serves as a Loss Consultant with Provencher & Company, bringing more than 25 years of leadership experience across claims handling, construction, homebuilding, and restoration operations. Based in Peoria, Arizona, he provides specialized expertise in building consulting, appraisal, and mitigation review services nationwide.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and has advanced through progressively senior operational leadership roles throughout his career. From 1998 to 2004, he managed area construction operations for J.F. Shea/Shea Homes, implementing quality assurance initiatives. He later joined Meritage Homes, serving as Director of Customer Service and ultimately Vice President of Operations. In that role, he oversaw construction, purchasing, and customer service divisions, delivering more than 1,400 homes annually and managing a $100 million operating budget.
In 2012, Robert transitioned into the restoration sector as General Manager of a SERVPRO franchise, where he improved mitigation workflow processes and reduced project cycle times by 18 percent. He subsequently founded Kimpel Consulting Group, advising contractors, property owners, and insurance carriers on complex, seven-figure commercial and multifamily restoration projects across the United States.
With training in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt methodologies and as a trained facilitator of The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Robert applies process discipline and operational efficiency principles to claims-related construction analysis. He has earned multiple IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, and HST), EPA Lead-Safe Renovation certification, Asbestos Contractor Supervisor certification, and OSHA 10-Hour Construction Outreach credentials.
Today, Robert integrates field-tested construction best practices into claim reviews, ensuring accurate scoping, compliant mitigation documentation, and clear, timely communication. His depth of operational and technical expertise strengthens the firm’s ability to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes for clients across the continental United States.
