As the newest member of the Executive Team, Julie will work directly with Senior Leadership on business operational objectives, planning initiatives and human resources. She will lead multiple projects ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy. The new role will influence and drive the delivery of business priorities, project excellence and bridge the gap between ideas and implementation with the ultimate goal of excellent customer service.

Julie began her career with Provencher & Company as a temp during Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Little did she know then it would turn into an entirely new career path for her. After obtaining her adjusters’ license, Julie took on claims technical roles before becoming Director of Quality Assurance and Claim Operations. She worked nearly every position in the company over the past 13 years giving her excellent insight into the day-to-day business operations. Julie is currently working on her SHRM Certification and overseeing Human Resources, fostering the culture of Provencher & Company and establishing the importance of emotional intelligence within the organization.

Provencher & Company, LLC is pleased to announce Brian Single will be the dedicated Senior Account Manager overseeing both London books of business and all liability claims.
Brian has been with Provencher & Company for five years, and has extensive experience spanning 24+ years in the Insurance claims industry. Brian, who began his career as an educator, worked for both insurance companies and as an independent adjuster. Through the course of his career, Brian has become an expert in the interpretation and application of commercial and personal lines coverages for both first and third party claims. While working with the London Syndicates during his tenure with Provencher, he’s developed a keen understanding of the London Market’s needs and expectations.
With the growth of both the Liability and London business we are experiencing, it was imperative to have the right claims professional oversee these divisions to ensure we deliver on our commitment to our clients – timely delivery of a quality work product.
Brian will be responsible for reviewing all aspects of adjuster reporting and providing practical solutions, recommendations and suggestions to assist our adjusters in meeting the expectations of our clients. He draws on his education background as a member of our Training Team and onboarding new adjusters.
Brian’s vast experience in investigating, evaluating and settling a wide variety of claims makes him an invaluable part of the Account Management Team.

If you were in the claims business in 2017, you had a front row seat to a wild ride. The season was fast and furious with lots of twists and turns. In less than 30 days, the US was hit with 3 major hurricanes over thousands of miles. The insurance industry was running on all cylinders and Provencher & Company, LLC was no exception.
There were logistical challenges due to the large geographical area and staffing challenges due to the incredible demand during the intense weeks of August and September of 2017.
As the claims settled, the industry as a whole was looking at ways to avoid repeating the chaos and challenges of the 2017 Hurricane Season. At Provencher & Company, LLC we took action and made improvements to ensure a smooth 2018 Hurricane Season.

In his new role, Mr. Retallick will be overseeing claims operations from an executive level. Retallick has garnered decades-long experience and training in a wide variety of complex, catastrophic, and daily claims management assignments. His claims handling experience spans from simple claims to complex multi-million-dollar losses. Stuart possesses extensive loss experience with high value and historic properties, manufacturing facilities, electrical utility generation, and fossil fuel pipeline and storage facilities. Stuart has supervised and trained Catastrophe claims adjusters during every major East Coast hurricane event since 1989. He is qualified as an Expert Witness for commercial property coverage, having provided deposition and courtroom testimony. He is an experienced Appraiser and Umpire. Stuart, and his extensive experience will be an integral part of the growth and success of Provencher & Company, LLC.
