As CEO/Executive General Adjuster Jerry is a recognized expert in multi-million dollar loss handling, with extensive experience in complex manufacturing, hospitality, wood industries, environmental, and business interruption. He is a qualified expert witness in coverage and claim handling, has testified numerous times as a claims expert in coverage and claim handling litigation. He directly oversees the Business Interruption Unit and reviews all large losses handled by Provencher & Company.
Jerry has 38 years of experience in property claims, including 16 years with insurance company claims management and Home Office executive experience. As AVP of a major insurer, he operated as Managing General Adjuster, directly managing the General Adjuster, Fire Investigation, and Catastrophe Programs.
Jerry is a frequent speaker and instructor having made well over 100 presentations for dozens of claim organizations. He has been published extensively and his articles on coverage and technical claim handling have been published by The American Bar Association, PLRB, Claims Magazine, The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, International Association of Arson Investigators and IICRC Mold Remediation Standards.
